Valentine's Card Making
Cupid’s Magic in the Servery
Even while Valentine’s Day was just in approach one could not help noticing the vibrant air of creativity and amorous inspiration among Kruppies and residents from other colleges.
On Wednesday before the very special 14th of February, a great number of students joined forces in the servery to wrap their sweet messages to significant others, best friends, loved ones and secret crushes into the most personalised and affectionately self-made cards.
The event was musically coloured by a stunning live performance by Krupp’s own Tapiwa Mubeda, enthralling the industrious card-makers with lyrics of love and compassion and a masterful command of the College Masters’ piano.
Many students also enjoyed the snacks and drinks provided and the general atmosphere of working together with the goal of putting a beautiful smile on that very special person’s face.
Surely, the Big Day was eagerly anticipated and has found not few to be surprised, touched and inspired by this token of love, friendship and appreciation that was delivered to them in the form of a rose and a specially crafted card.
For some it only remains to be revealed who their secret admirer might be and whether also they themselves will be struck by Cupid’s arrow upon finding out...
