A Party of Superlatives
More DJs, better deco and innovative effects - Krupp College set out to make this year's Valentine's Party the best yet. And what a party it was. The Krew spent countless hours decorating - hundreds of paper hearts and a dozen paper cupids were cut out, two large banners painted and about 500 balloons blown up. After days of preparation and more than ten hours spent inside the venue, H3 looked stunning with hearts, cupids and balloons on the wall and suspended from the ceiling, candles illuminating the hall and a sofa inviting people to come closer to each other.
The first guests to arrive were treated to free drinks and music from MegaPhone-Man aka Seb, playing mainstream, German dancehall and rock. As more and more people streamed in Vassy took over and got the floor dancing with hip-hop and R&B.
At 1am it was time for a big surprise: All of a sudden some 300 heart-shaped balloons and confetti dropped down from the ceiling into the crowd. As everyone got into balloon-popping madness, Devashish took over the turn-tables and grooved H3 with his mix of house and electronic music. The party was rounded off by Tobi who played hip-hop and R&B until the early morning hours. At 4am the Krew finally decided to turn on the light and to turn off the music, much to the dismay of some thirty guests who were still in the mood for a party.
