Olympix 2008 - Day 1 Results

Day 1 of the Jacobs University Olympix is almost over and the first results are in. Krupp performed exceptionally well in the tug of war, coming in second and third. Block A and Block C had to compete against each other in the semi-finals, from where Block C advanced to the finals. Block A had no problems defeating Mercator in the duel for third place, but Block C could not match the strengths of the Graduates & Alumni team. The final began with an unclean start and Krupp had no chance. After the start was disputed, Kruppies and the Grads & Alumni agreed to have a just for fun rematch. Krupp performed much better, but ultimately Grads & Alumni proved to be stronger.

Unfortunately, Krupp could not advance to the semi-finals in volleyball. At the moment, Graduates & Alumni are playing Mercator for rank three, in the finals two College 3 blocks are competing against each other.
