Hamburg Miniatur Wunderland
Sunday - the perfect day to give up to the long hours of studying and embark on a day-long trip... Said and done. On 7th of March, the eager Kruppies woke up early to catch the 12:28 train to Hamburg.
After admiring the beautiful central lake, and the famous Rathaus, we walked together to Miniatur Wunderland – the world biggest model railway exhibition. The 4000 square meters of miniature worlds built with endless patience by the skilled artists, offered us the opportunity to visit Southern Germany, Hamburg and the coast, America, Scandinavia and Switzerland, in a couple of hours. Hundreds of thousands of figurines, 800 trains together with thousands of buildings, bridges, forests were a true exhibition of mixed reality and art.
The Voyage to Lillimburg ended safely, late in the evening, and after the long day of wandering through the miniworlds, the happy Krulivers hurried again to their daily worries, dreaming to take part in the next chapter of Krupp Adventures.
