Christmas Party
HO HO HO,
Oh, does it sound cliche, but I guess Chrismas party discription can't be done without a HO HO HO, so I am going to do a lot of it. I am filled with some sort of special energy, while writing this. May be because I still remember, how much fun we had on the Christmas eve here. "The party was just awesome" , and I am not exagerrating it, these were the words from Roshan, a visiting student from University of Pennsilvania.
First we started with sparkling wine reception. Those who don't drink, enjoyed all sorts of juices that we had arranged for them. I would say, the party had a very good balance of formal and informal content. The Krupp College Office master Klaus; presented a very good lecture about the history of Christmas. Then the meal followed, which had variety of things to eat for Non-vegiterians as well as Vegiterians.
Another very interestin part was games that we played. we had Passing the Parcel and tombola to keep every dessert hungry tummy occupied. Passing the parcel involved passing a big parcel, which had hidden gifts in its layer. It was a lot of fun, how I kept on anticipating what I would get next, sometimes I got a lot of chocolates, and sometimes I got intructions to hug people. It was just cool and exciting. Next, was Tombola, which involved playing games and winning a gift. Almost everyone got a gift after particpating in cabdle blowing competition or cotton ball juggling.
ahhhh, and how can we forget the dessert. If I said the dinner was good, then I would say dessert was brilliant. People could enjoy various types of Ice-creams and cakes.I loved this part and hated as well. I was eating so much, while I was on deiting.
To sum up, it was a great party, a lot of fun. I can't thank DJ Yusuf, enough, for provding us with just the suitable music troughout the party. while writting this, I am missing that night. I hope I would be able to participate just the same next year as well. But, till then, Krupp College Office is going to do lot more fun activities, so keep yourself tuned. And, if you have any suggestions, just come around.
HO HO HO!!!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS
