Serkan & Agata

Hello Kruppies!

We are Serkan and Agata, your Resident Associates from A-Block :) Both true Kruppies at heart, we pride ourselves in having lived in the spiciest college on campus throughout the three years of our undergraduate studies in Jacobs. Right now, we are back as graduates to take care of our Chillies.

Serkan is currently doing his PhD in geochemistry, studying Rare Earth Elements in the Rhine. He is one of the last prioneers on campus,remembering our College in the making. You might have seen his face in front of Krupp College Office, where his Kruppie of the Year award from 2004 is hanging - the first ever awarded in the history of our College. One of Serkan’s biggest passions is music. He co-founded and for many years was the leader of the Music Club. Another passion of his is soccer - both virtual and in real life.

Agata is in her second year of Master studies, in the program called Global Visual Communication. Before that, she studied psychology, and is now striving to combine the two disciplines in her research. She loves art, both its production and reception aspects. When she was younger, she used to draw a lot, winning international prizes. She loves to dance and listen to music. Food has always been one of her passions, hence one of the most recent interest she developed -cooking :)

In our free time, we both enjoy watching soccer (both avid fans of Fenerbahçe team from Istanbul - out of choice and through peer

pressure :P), eating sushi, and watching movies. Our apartment is always open if you need some coffee, a piece of advice, book KPZ or just feel like stopping by!
