From The Inside - Drug Wars
“From the Inside” hosted by B-A-Link and Krupp College are events encouraging students and faculty to come together and discuss a wide range of interesting topics ranging from economic and political subjects to simple day-to-day matters, often based on personal experience.
Throughout the previous semester several topics, such as the Georgia conflict and the US elections, successfully explored. This semester “From the Inside” was sparked off with the first discussion: “Create a World without Poverty” in which Trevor Sloughter presented information on new theories on capitalism. The presentation was followed by a discussion and the screening of a frontline documentary on micro-credit in Uganda.
The next discussion will cover the topic "Gang-violence and Drug Wars in Mexico" and will take place on Sunday, March the 15th in the Krupp Multimedia Room - more information will follow soon. If you have more ideas for discussion topics or have something in mind you would like to know more about please let us know and we would be more than happy to organize a “From the Inside” on that topic!
