Circus Roncalli

On Saturday, a group of ten eager Jacobs Students ventured downtown to see Circus Roncalli. This circus is widely considered as one of the best circusses in Europe and has currently pitched its tents in the park "Bürgerweide". The students, who only had to pay a small contribution thanks to sponsorship from Krupp College, dove into the magical circus world for two and a half hours. The experience started at the entrance, where their noses were painted red or their faces were adorned with little hearts, and a band played traditional German music. The show itself was marvellous, a mix of scary artistic stunts, excellent clowns and magical illusions. There was also one element involving horses and greyhounds.

After the show, the ten agreed that it was well worth taking time off their studies for the great show. They rushed back home, though admittedly not to continue studying but to celebrate at the James Bond theme party on campus.
