Christmas Deco & Dessert Competition

Christmas is coming and Krupp College is starting to get into a festive mood. We already have a small area of the servery decorated with a traditional German "Adventskranz", a ring with four candles that are consecutively lit on the four Sundays before Christmas.

However, there is more to come: On Saturday, all Kruppies are invited to join the Krupp team from 4pm to 6pm to decorate the college's public areas. There will be several Christmas trees, lights and loads of other decoration materials. Krupp College will be the only college fully operational during winter break and will host the university's Christmas and New Year celebrations, so we want the college to look its best.

Student will also have the chance to make their own Christmas cards at a special workshop.

From 5pm the judging of Krupp's international dessert competition will take place. All students are invited to prepare a dessert to win additional equipment for their floor's kitchen. The best dessert will be produced by the university's catering provider for the entire university community.

The rules for the competition are:

1. Register with a team of at least two in the college office.

2. Students will receive up to 15 Euro for ingredients. Just keep the receipts after shopping and get a reimbursement from the college office. It is important that any receipts only include ingredients (no personal purchases) as we can only reimburse the full amount of any receipt.

3. Display the dessert and its recipe at 5pm in the servery.

4. The desserts will be judged by the Krupp team.
