Printer & Scanner Drivers
Printers:
We have two Kyocera Mita FS1300-D printers available for student use. The printers are brand-new and support double-sided printing. All you need to bring is paper - if the toner runs out, please talk to the college office team. We recommend that you first delete the old drivers using Kyocera's driver removal tool. The tool can be found on the same website as the drivers (select the "Utility" tab above the list of drivers).
Scanner:
In the printing area you will find a Canon 5600F printer. To use it, you need the driver "ScanGear CS". You also need software to do the actual scanning. Many computers have pre-installed software for this (if you have ever used a scanner with your laptop you can most likely use the same software), but if you are having trouble you can use the free software "MP Navigator EX", also available from Canon. The scanner supports scanning photo negatives, ask the college office for the special scanning kit.
