1st Krupp-On-Tour Pub Crawl

A roaring success. Old man DaCOM ran the kiddos about 5km across the prettiest parts of the city Bremen.

Started on the Weser river on a clear crisp night at a cheesy Americana place called Red Rock, as in Arizona, for a first round of beers and cognac and coffee.

Then off to the Marktplatz for a bit of historic culture photo shoots, afterwards diving into the Schüttinger brewhouse where they sell mini-kegs of beer. All sorts of mad drunken football song singing as we worked our private tap.

They ran out of kegs so we marched on to the 'Viertel' (the Quartier) to gorge on döner kebaps at the oddly named Taco shop. A couple of beers tossed back between the food on a colorful of artistic corner and another drink hanging by the Wohnzimmer bar (Living Room) rounded off the evening before....

Another photo shoot by the theater and then a 1km RUN along the Contrescarpe canal, a zigzagging leftover lake of a mighty embattlement fortress of long ago now a park. A fantastical jogging rush as the old man left most of the sleepy young ones in the dust. Brilliant.

Last stop: the 1€Euro bar for a quick round of tequila shots before dashing to the Hauptbahnhof to get the On Tour horde back onto the last train with 1 minute to spare.

Then DaCOM strolled on most amused at the fun of another tour gone so well in a town he knows so well as they all rolled home certainly already dozing into never never land as DaCOM found a second wind to tour on home afoot through the grand Bürgerpark. Fall has fallen.

A roaring success. And enough energy left to write about it.

Endurance, that's the silver lining tucked in the wrinkles of age, kiddos . . .
